Saturday Lunch Soft Drinks Workshop & Tasting Menu Experience
We’re proud to offer a soft drinks pairing that evolves with our tasting menu, featuring garden and farm ingredients. Join us every Saturday from October for an exclusive workshop, exploring how we create our inventive drinks and the art of pairing them with food. Following the workshop, enjoy our lunchtime tasting menu accompanied by a specially curated soft drinks pairing, showcasing the creativity and craft behind each glass. Wine pairing upgrades are also available for those who wish to enhance the experience further.
The preservation and foraging team work year round to create these unique drinks, so we’d like to invite you to learn a little more about the processes and ingredients they use.
Our Lunch Soft Drinks Workshop & Tasting Menu Experience is available every Saturday from October 2026 – 24th April 2027 | 12.00pm reservations only. This package includes:
– A soft drinks workshop to learn all about the ingredients and processes we use to create our soft pairing, led by a member of The Black Swan team
– Lunch Tasting menu at The Black Swan Oldstead
– Soft drink pairings to accompany your tasting menu
The Soft Drinks Workshop & Saturday Lunch is priced at £175pp.

Itinerary:
11.30am – Arrive in the bar at The Black Swan Oldstead for your soft drinks workshop and Oldstead snack, cooked by our chefs.
12pm – Move up to the restaurant to enjoy our lunch tasting menu & soft drinks pairing
Dine at The Black Swan Oldstead
The Black Swan is a 1 Michelin-star, a Michelin Green Star and 4 AA Rosette restaurant with rooms by chef Tommy Banks.
Experience a tasting menu that is inspired by the ingredients that we grow and forage ourselves in and around Oldstead. The tasting menu is priced at £195 per person for dinner and £135 per person for Saturday lunch.
Stay at The Black Swan Oldstead
We offer 1 night stays Tuesday - Saturday which include the tasting menu, overnight stay and breakfast in one of our nine beautiful rooms. When The Black Swan rooms are full we offer our packages at our sister site, The Abbey Inn at Byland (located 1 mile away). Please note The Abbey Inn is closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday; check in would be at The Black Swan on both these days.
We also offer 2 night packages arriving on a Saturday or Monday only. Guests will enjoy our tasting menu on Saturday/Tuesday and can experience our sister restaurant, The Abbey Inn, on the Sunday/Monday.
