Bar

The Bar features a stone flagged floor, an open log fire, oak fittings by Mousey Thompson Craftsmen of Kilburn, window seats, soft cushions and antique furnishings. Choice at the bar includes local real ales, good wines by the glass, malt whiskies and vintage port.

Food available in the bar includes “Pub Classics”, such as Haddock & Chips, Steak & Chips and Soup. Lighter options, such as Salads, Sandwiches and Ploughman’s are offered at lunchtime. All the restaurant menus are also available in the bar or indeed outside. Listed in The Times, as one of the “10 Top Alfresco Restaurants” in the UK.
